*thud* That was me....sitting down....and don't try to move me for a while.
I'm a capricorn, and thus I am an earth element.
In my tradition, the element earth is located in the north.

Ah yes, wherever I stop I just set down roots and kind of plop there. Go exciting element of earth! lol However, I like being grounded, it's a good way to be in my opinion. Easier than always flitting or floating about, washing along or burning out all the time. I am, how shall we say this, a conservationist of energy. I waste none of it. Some people call this lazy, I call it... .... well, conserving energy. Plus, if you want to find some earth to connect with, it's not as difficult to find as say, a body of water or a match. And not as dangerous as either unless it's an earthquake. Yes, we are north facing earth. And oddly enough, there seems to be a lot of earth in this little group.

Yep, if I feel drained...(and I can't get energy any other way ) I just sit myself down and sniff the grass. It looks a little weird, but it is fun! OH, and being burried in sand is like the best thing in the world...totally rejuvinating!

The judo greenbelt that tossed my lightweight body around smelled like freshly dug up dirt...it was bizarre...something I won't soon forget.

I totally agree. Rolling around in the mud is so much fun sometimes. Last time I did that took an hour to wach all the mud out of my hair and ears.

I like earths. They are usually cool people. *thinks for a moment* Now that I think about it... my last 3 girlfriends (including my current and final one) have all been earths. Fire seems to go well with earth... the again, I am quite like water at times, as I can be very calm and let things wash over me. Fire and water seem to be very much alike.

When I was first starting out I wrote everything about everthing in my BoS on the elements. Here is a sampling on the element of Earth: ( I find this list of attributes most help when trying to meditate on an element and it ritual writing) Gender: Feminine, Passive Color: Green Time of Day: Midnight Tarot Suit: Pentacles Qualities: Understanding, Stability and Strength (legal matters too) Animals: Bison, Cow, Stag... Metal: Iron King: Ghob Archangel: Auriel Spirits: Gnomes Jewel: quartz, salt Places Ruled: caves, chasms, fields, groves.... Musical Instruments: Percussion( including piano) Astrological Signs: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn Hidden Knowledge: Secrets Magic Skills: Money, business, death, binding rites, food Sense: Touch I hope this list of associations can help deepen your meditation and add variety to your spell and rituals -JenJen
