New Moon ( aka Dark Moon) workings can be done from the time of the New Moon to three and a half days after. The New Moon is for starting new ventures or beginings as it is by the moon based calander the start of the lunar month. This is also the time for dealing with attackers, and exploring our darkest recesses- a time to understand our angers and passions. Waxing Moon workings can be done from the time of the Waxing Moon until seven days after. This is the maiden aspect of the Goddess, therefore is good with dealings associated with youth- such as love and jobs, friendship and courage. Full Moon workings may be done from the time of to three days after the Full Moon. This is when the Goddess is at her highest power in the mother aspect. This is the Moon Calander's time of the month for Samhain, Imbolc, Beltaine and Lughnasa rituals. This moon is great for all magical workings however best for prophecy, dreams and healing. Waning Moon workings may be done from the time of to seven days after the Waning Moon. This is the Goddess's Crone aspect and dealings associated with wisdom and old age are best for this moon, such as banishing magic, ridding one's self of addictions, illness or negetivity. I hope this helps everyone deepen their sense of the Moon and all her mysteries... happy magic... JenJen
