There are quite a few different spellings of that one, I'll just use that, it's my favorite.
The Boline is a white handled knife that is used for anything practical that requires something sharp, including carving runes, inscribing candles, herbalism and harvesting plant material, etc.
The traditional form of this knife has a curved blade not unlike a mini scythe, and a white handle. But in reality, those can be expensive and cumbersome to work with. Any white handled knife can do for your dirty work as long as you consecrate and bless it. If you want, you can still have a traditional boline to use on your altar or for ritual workings if you're aesthetic (like me).
