I would like to know more information on herbal lore, I find it quite interesting. Although I am an air sign, I have an attraction to stone/gem magick and also with plants and herb lore. I know very little of this one even though I have bought several books which I have every intention of reading....sometime. Does anyone else have no desire to read for enjoyment once classes have begun? I will force myself to read some, I really do need to become more knowledgable in all these areas.
So if anyone has any useful information, I would be glad to absorb this info.

If you need some basic herbs, a good collection includes sage, thyme, bay leaves, basil, tarragon, marjoram, mint, and rosemary. Moura is the author for herbal books, although with herbalism it's almost less a "read me" book and more a reference book, usually. Chamomile is a base for most teas, rose hips are also used, but mostly for teas concerning love, including self love; herbs for balance include basil, chamomile, comfrey, mullien, nettle, and woodruff, to name a few; for energy collect fennel, vervain, and woodruff....oh herbalism has soooo many ingredients. that's why I'm a crystal worker.

But you know me, I like things that are complicated, when they are simple I try to complicate them anyway, lol. Stones are fun too, but herbs are more mind consuming,

Well...technically we all dream every night, its just a matter of remembering them.
If you just want to dream, then I suggest eating something irritating before bed. The indigestion will keep you in a state that will allow you to remember your dreams.

Long used for protection against lightning, disease, misfortune of every kind, fires and so on, it is carried or placed in an appropriate spot for these uses. The leaves and berries are used. Mistletoe is placed in cradles to protect children from being stolen by fairies and replaced with changelings. A ring carved of mistletoe wood will ward off sicknesses when worn and the plant will cure fresh wounds quickly when carried (do not apply to the wound). Mistletoe is also carried or worn for good luck in hunting, and women carry the herb to aid in conception. It has also been utilized in spells designed to capture that elusive state of immortality, and to open locks. Laid near the bedroom door, mistletoe gives restful sleep and beautiful dreams, as it does when placed beneath the pillow or hung at the headboard. Kiss your love beneath mistletoe and you'll stay in love. Burned, mistletoe banishes evil. Wear it around your neck to attain invisibility. Mistletoe is an all-purpose herb.
